Shih Ching is a statistician based in Perth, Western Australia. He has previously been a researcher in mineral exploration, a product owner at a software startup, and a biostatistical consultant at universities. He has worked with data from astronomy, law enforcement, defence, agriculture, and health care.
With a background in computer science and applied statistics, Shih Ching enjoys the computational side of problem-solving, especially introducing people to the rudiments of R programming. He is particularly interested in Bayesian inference and training the next generation of savvy statistical professionals.
Statistics aside, Shih Ching is an avid golfer and desires to spend more time on the greens and fairways.
